Education: Empowering the Powerless to be Powerful. — Dr. Richie Nana Nketsiah

Statement of Faith

STATEMENT OF FAITH

My Faith

My faith is founded on the belief that God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of humanity, and that life finds its true meaning and purpose in a relationship with Him.

I believe that faith is not merely a declaration of belief but a way of life expressed through love, integrity, obedience, service, compassion, and commitment to the well-being of others.

God

I believe in one God, eternal and sovereign, who is the source of life, wisdom, truth, and righteousness.

God is worthy of our worship, trust, and wholehearted devotion. His character of love provides the foundation for how we relate to Him and to one another.

Jesus Christ

I believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of humanity.

Through His life, teachings, sacrificial death, and resurrection, Christ reveals God's love and provides the hope of salvation. I believe that Jesus Christ is the center of the Christian faith and that His life provides the supreme example of love, humility, compassion, and service.

The Holy Scriptures

I believe the Holy Scriptures are the foundation of Christian faith, teaching, and conduct.

The Bible provides divine instruction, wisdom, correction, encouragement, and guidance for life. It should therefore be studied prayerfully and applied faithfully, not merely read as historical or literary material.

The Holy Spirit

I believe in the Holy Spirit as God's divine presence working in the lives of believers.

The Holy Spirit convicts, teaches, guides, strengthens, and transforms. Through the Spirit, believers are equipped to develop Christlike character and to serve God and humanity with their gifts and abilities.

Salvation

I believe that salvation is God's gracious gift to humanity and is centered in Jesus Christ.

Human beings cannot achieve salvation through human effort, status, wealth, education, or achievement. Salvation calls for faith, repentance, forgiveness, and a transformed life through the grace of God.

Christian Character and Conduct

I believe that genuine faith should produce genuine transformation.

Christianity should therefore be reflected in honesty, humility, love, self-discipline, compassion, forgiveness, justice, responsibility, and service.

What we believe should influence how we speak, how we treat others, how we work, how we lead, and how we respond to the needs of society.

The Mission of the Believer

I believe that every believer has a responsibility to share God's love and contribute positively to the lives of others.

The Gospel should be communicated not only through words but also through compassionate service, responsible leadership, education, mentorship, creativity, technology and practical acts of kindness.

Faith and Education

I believe that education and faith should contribute to the transformation of the whole person.

Education should develop knowledge, skills, wisdom, and character, while faith should provide moral direction, purpose, and a sense of responsibility.

Education should therefore not merely produce people who know more. It should help produce people who live better, serve better, and impact others positively.

This conviction is expressed in my educational philosophy:

Faith, Service, and Impact

I believe that whatever knowledge, ability, opportunity, or influence a person possesses should ultimately be used for a meaningful purpose.

True success is not measured only by qualifications, position, wealth, or recognition. It is also measured by the lives we touch, the people we empower, and the positive difference we make in the world.

Knowledge • Character • Impact

Knowledge gives us understanding and competence.

Character determines how we use what we know.

Impact is the positive difference our knowledge and character make in the lives of others.

Together, these represent a life of purposeful faith, learning, service, and influence.

My Commitment

I seek to live and work in a manner that honors God, serves humanity, and contributes to the development of individuals and communities.

Through education, research, technology, mentorship, music, ministry and service, my desire is to use the opportunities entrusted to me to encourage others, develop potential and point people towards a life of purpose.

May all knowledge lead to wisdom, all wisdom lead to character, and all character lead to meaningful impact.

To God be the glory.
