Dr. Richie Nana Nketsiah
Dr. Richie Nana Nketsiah is an educator, researcher, technology professional, mentor, gospel musician, composer, and Christian ministry worker whose work brings together education, technology, research, faith, music, and service.
He is passionate about using knowledge and experience to empower individuals, particularly students and young people, to discover their potential, develop their abilities, and make meaningful contributions to society.
Academic and Professional Journey
Dr. Nketsiah holds a PhD in Information Technology from Durban University of Technology (DUT), South Africa. His doctoral research focused on the bio-inspired optimization of a cost model for minimizing labor costs in computer networking infrastructure, reflecting his interest in computer networking, optimization, computational intelligence, and technology-driven problem solving.
He also holds a master's degree in information technology from Open University Malaysia (OUM) and has pursued studies in computer engineering at DeVry University, Chicago, and journalism at Truman College, Chicago.
His academic and professional work spans teaching, research, curriculum development, student supervision, technology, and the development of innovative solutions to practical problems.
He has served in teaching and academic capacities at institutions including the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU), Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and Takoradi Technical University (TTU).
Teaching and Mentorship
Teaching for Dr. Nketsiah extends beyond the classroom.
He believes that education should equip learners not only with knowledge and technical competence but also with confidence, character, creativity, and the ability to solve real-world problems.
Through teaching and mentorship, he has worked with students in areas including computer networking, cybersecurity, databases, computer hardware, network virtualization, advanced computer networks, technology, and related areas of computing and information technology.

Dr. Nketsiah's research interests include computer networking, optimization, computational intelligence, cybersecurity, information technology, and technology-driven problem solving.
His doctoral research led to the development and application of bio-inspired optimization approaches for addressing labor-cost challenges in computer networking infrastructure.
His research and academic interests continue to explore ways in which technology and intelligent computational methods can be applied to practical problems.
Music and Ministry
Beyond academia and technology, Dr. Nketsiah has a strong commitment to Christian ministry and sacred music.
He is a gospel musician and composer, with approximately 360 sacred musical compositions, and has been involved in the development and promotion of Christian music.
He founded the Adventist Musical Center (AMC) in Takoradi, Ghana, and Durban, South Africa, with the desire to encourage meaningful Christian music, musicianship, and worship.
Through Godz Love Ministries (GLM), he is involved in devotional ministry, Bible teaching, music, prayer, evangelism, and digital evangelism.
He also participates in radio Bible teaching and seeks to use digital platforms to make Christian resources and biblical teachings more accessible.
Service and Digital Evangelism
Dr. Nketsiah is passionate about using modern technology for positive social and spiritual impact.
His work in digital evangelism focuses on helping people, particularly young people, understand how smartphones, digital platforms, and online resources can be used responsibly to share the Gospel, communicate knowledge, and reach others.
He believes technology should not merely make life more convenient; it should also provide opportunities for education, service, communication, and transformation.
